1. Customer's liability. The customer directs where the container is placed and holds the company harmless for any damage from that placement, including to the property surface, whether the container is loaded or unloaded or from the truck crossing the property. The company is not responsible for property damage when providing service as directed, nor for claims, injury, death, or damage to property or the environment resulting from the rental. Obtaining any required permit is the customer's responsibility — check with your local municipality, as permits are often required for public and private placement. Please ensure 50 ft of straight clearance for drop-off.

2. Responsibility for equipment. The customer is responsible for all loss or damage to the equipment beyond normal wear and tear, including damage from their handling, agents, or third parties while in their care, and agrees to pay reasonable repair costs (this can include severe graffiti). Do not overload, move, or alter the equipment; use it only for its intended purpose. The customer is liable for any overweight fines caused by overloading, including fines the driver incurs en route or on arrival. On collection day, provide unobstructed access. If the equipment is inaccessible or filled above the rim, a "dry run" charge applies, based on distance traveled and the impact on the day's other jobs. All material must stay within the dumpster and not exceed the top. The company may refuse to service any dumpster that exceeds fill or weight capacity. Distribute weight evenly.

3. No hazardous waste. Do not place any radioactive, reactive, toxic, ignitable, corrosive, pathological, acidic, or otherwise hazardous-listed waste in the container.

4. Insufficient funds. A $35.00 fee applies to any returned check, or the customer may be liable for triple damages in addition to the check amount — not less than $100.00 and not more than $1,500.00, per California Civil Code 1719.

5. Interest. Unpaid balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% annually). If collection or legal action is needed, the customer agrees to pay reasonable court costs, collection fees, and attorney fees as allowed by law.

6. Dumpster restrictions. The 3-cubic-yard container holds a maximum of 1,000 lbs and must be no more than level full; additional weight fees apply. Dirt, concrete, asphalt, brick, cement, tile, stucco, plaster, roofing shingles, and other heavy debris are not allowed.

7. Cancellation & rental terms. Orders may be cancelled the same order day, no later than 2:45 pm PST, and not after the container is en route. If cancelled while en route, a $75.00/hour fee (port to port) applies. If service can't be performed for the reasons above, or a driver must wait more than 20 minutes, a $125.00 hourly charge applies. Any guideline violation carries a minimum $75.00 fee, payable immediately. Dumpsters are seven-day rentals unless otherwise agreed. It is the customer's responsibility to call the office to schedule removal, unless ordered online with a specified pickup date. Once a removal is phoned in, the rental period stops from that date (including Sundays and holidays) and the dumpster is removed within 72 hours. In special circumstances such as natural disasters or equipment failure, the company may delay service without liability for damages or penalties. The office is normally closed Sundays and holidays; online scheduling on those days takes effect after the next business day. If 14 days are exceeded, a charge of $5.00 per calendar day after the 14th day applies (some city fees may apply) unless otherwise specified in writing.
